Role: Finance Manager
We’re seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in our financial operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across M&A, financial modelling, budgeting, investor reporting, and management accounting—all within a fast-paced scale-up environment.
Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:
Mergers and Acquisitions
- Build detailed financial models to assess acquisition opportunities and their financial impact
- Support the preparation of investment cases and presentations for senior leadership and investors
Financial Modelling
- Develop and maintain advanced financial models to guide strategic decisions and long-term planning
- Interpret model outputs and provide actionable insights and recommendations
Management Accounts
- Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Analyse financial performance vs. budgets and forecasts to highlight trends and variances
Financial Analysis & Reporting
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives
- Produce clear, insightful reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders
Person Specification
- We're looking for someone who is:
- Ambitious, resilient, and a proactive self-starter
- Educated to at least a 2:1 level in Finance or Accounting, with 5–6 years’ experience in a similar role
- Ideally experienced in the Big 4 and/or investment banking
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Excited to work in a small, agile team within a scaling company
- Experienced with Power BI (highly desirable)
