Role: Finance Manager

We’re seeking a talented Finance Manager to join our dynamic team and play a key role in our financial operations. This is a unique opportunity to gain broad exposure across M&A, financial modelling, budgeting, investor reporting, and management accounting—all within a fast-paced scale-up environment.

Finance Manager Key Responsibilities:

Mergers and Acquisitions

• Build detailed financial models to assess acquisition opportunities and their financial impact
• Support the preparation of investment cases and presentations for senior leadership and investors

Financial Modelling

• Develop and maintain advanced financial models to guide strategic decisions and long-term planning
• Interpret model outputs and provide actionable insights and recommendations

Management Accounts

• Support the preparation of monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet, and cash flow
• Analyse financial performance vs. budgets and forecasts to highlight trends and variances

Financial Analysis & Reporting

• Conduct in-depth financial analysis to support strategic initiatives
• Produce clear, insightful reports and presentations for internal and external stakeholders

Person Specification

• We're looking for someone who is:
• Ambitious, resilient, and a proactive self-starter
• Educated to at least a 2:1 level in Finance or Accounting, with 5–6 years’ experience in a similar role
• Ideally experienced in the Big 4 and/or investment banking
• Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
• Excited to work in a small, agile team within a scaling company
• Experienced with Power BI (highly desirable)
