Job Description:

Currently seeking a talented and motivated Software Developer who is passionate about both technology and sustainability.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced Software Developer with strong expertise in C# and .NET, alongside familiarity with Netsuite or other ERP Systems. In this role, you will play a key part in developing, maintaining, and optimising software solutions that support our operations and business growth. Software Developer Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, maintain, and enhance business applications using C# and .NET technologies.
  • Integrate and customise NetSuite ERP system to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyse business requirements.
  • Design and implement APIs and web services to support system integrations.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues in a timely manner.
  • Optimise and refactor existing code to improve performance, scalability, and security.
  • Support testing, deployment, and maintenance of applications in production environments.
  • Keep documentation up to date and adhere to best coding practices.
  • Stay current on emerging trends and technologies to continuously improve our development practices.

Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in software development with a focus on C# and .NET technologies.
  • Experience in ERP systems development and customisation, especially with NetSuite (SuiteScript, SuiteTalk), or similar platforms.
  • Proficiency in SQL and relational databases for designing, querying, and optimizing database schemas.
  • Experience with RESTful APIs and web services, including design, implementation, and integration.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms like Microsoft Azure and cloud-based deployment strategies (e.g., serverless, PaaS).
  • Proficient with version control systems, such as Git, for managing and collaborating on codebases.
  • Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks like Blazor or React for building interactive user interfaces.
  • Experience with front-end technologies, including JavaScriptHTML5, and CSS3, for creating seamless user experiences.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks (MSTestNUnitxUnit) and familiarity with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
  • Understanding of DevOps practices and tools such as DockerKubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines for streamlined development and deployment.
  • Strong understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) and experience working in Agile development environments.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team, adapting to changing project needs.
  • Experience in the renewable energy or related industries is a plus, bringing valuable industry insights to our team.
