A leading manufacturer and seller of tailored covers for motor vehicles, caravans, and boats are looking to employ a full time shopify developer

UK Custom covers sell to the public and businesses through various on-line marketplaces throughout the UK and the rest of the world. The company has been running since 2006 and is a vast growing business.

We are looking to enhance our online presence and expand our digital storefront. We're seeking a talented Shopify Developer to join our team and bring our online stores to the next level. This role offers the opportunity to work with a dynamic team, create custom Shopify solutions, and directly contribute to our business growth.

Please be aware that this is an office based job.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, customize, and optimize Shopify stores to align with business goals
• Create and modify Shopify themes, ensuring they are responsive and optimized for performance
• Integrate third-party applications and plugins to enhance site functionality
• Collaborate with marketing and design teams to implement creative and functional solutions
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify stores, from back-end coding issues to front-end UX/UI
• Ensure website performance, security, and scalability
• Stay updated with the latest Shopify features, trends, and best practices

Requirements:

Proven experience with Shopify development (min. 3 years)
Strong understanding of Liquid templating language
Experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery
Familiarity with Shopify APIs and third-party apps
Experience with version control (Git) and development tools
Ability to solve technical problems efficiently and creatively
Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team
