An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Senior Account / Project Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing key client relationships, leading new product development projects, coordinating cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement across the department and wider business.
Key Responsibilities
- Client Relationship & Account Management
- Serve as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of key and strategic client accounts, building strong stakeholder relationships and delivering exceptional client satisfaction.
- Manage all client enquiries, complaints, and escalations in a timely and professional manner.
- Oversee customer re-orders, review costings, and ensure system data is accurate and up to date.
- Maintain strict client and company confidentiality at all times.
- Act as a brand ambassador for Contract Candles & Diffusers, promoting the business at every appropriate opportunity.
Project Management & Delivery
- Lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of client projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Produce accurate new product quotations and critical paths based on client briefs.
- Coordinate internal departments, clients, and third-party suppliers to ensure timely delivery of high-quality samples and finished products.
- Oversee first production runs for new products and conduct inspections to ensure specifications and customer requirements are met.
- Facilitate client forecasting to support long-term planning and commercial visibility.
New Product Development & Innovation
- Collaborate closely with the New Product Development team to identify opportunities and propose new initiatives for existing and prospective clients.
- Organise and facilitate meetings to support product development in line with sales enquiries.
Risk, Quality & Issue Resolution
- Manage and resolve production challenges, balancing the needs of the client with commercial objectives.
- Support the investigation and resolution of technical and quality issues, including customer complaints.
- Conduct post-project reviews and recommend improvements for future delivery.
Commercial & Financial Management
- Monitor project budgets and provide accurate financial reporting and forecasts.
- Manage client contracts, legal documentation, and negotiate SLAs where required.
- Identify opportunities to expand the client base and support business growth initiatives.
Continuous Improvement & Internal Collaboration
- Identify opportunities for operational improvement and work with Directors and the Business Relationship team to implement new processes and procedures.
- Streamline system usage and recommend efficiency improvements.
- Attend internal and cross-functional meetings as required.
- Support wider business initiatives and contribute to additional internal projects when needed.
- Champion the company’s mission and commitment to sustainability, proactively recommending improvements where appropriate.
What You’ll Need to Succeed
- Strong experience in client-facing account management and/or project management roles.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset.
- Experience within manufacturing, FMCG, or product development environments (desirable).

Salary:
Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 per year - Contract: Full-time, Permanent - Location: Chichester (in-person)
